Honestly since you do not have any experience in breeding – by the time you research, get a mentor and really get and have the knowledge of a good breeder – she will be too old to breed! It takes years and years to learn to be a good breeder! People ahead of time learn and learn and watch and get a mentor and go to shows and help with birthing etc! and after they are ready then they get the pup! Good breeders just dont get a dog and then well the dog is breeding quality, lets breed!Nope thats not how it works! If i had the say – you should spay her when its time! There are many many good great dane breeders that have great lines! Your just starting out and deciding to breed AFTER you got the dog! Do not worry there are tons of good lines! Leave it to the experienced breeders and have her spayed and enjoy her worry free!
