I’m just wondering, how many of you on here actually knows what Tourettes Syndrome is (without looking up online)? Can you explain what it is?

Best answer will be to the person who actually knows what it is and explains it the most (I have it so I know quite a bit about it).

I get that it is a neurological disorder characterized by tics and that it affects the neurotransmitters but does anyone know where I can find something more in depth?

I’m doing a report on tourette’s and I don’t know anyone who has it, so I’m hoping to get a glimpse on how people who have it are coping with the disability. That way, my classmates would understand the disability more.

I was watching a report on Tourettes Syndrome, and everyone in the report were white, rich kids. Growing up in the inner city of Baltimore, I never encountered anyone with this Syndrome. Is this something that can arise with race and economic class?
