Since the cells in our bodies replace themselves; when they do…are we different people by then? Cells are generally accepted as living things, and humans are composed of cells. So when they replace themselves, from an existantialist point of view, would that make us entirely different people?

I have scars that I got more than 7-10 years ago, why are they still there if every single cell in our body is replenished ever 7-10 years? I have been wondering this for some time.

    Thanks

Is there some solution or chemical that carries oxygen from the blood to the cells in our bodies or does it free float there? And is there air inside our bodies that isn’t inside our lungs, like it’s just floating around without a point?
