What is a bicycle exercise?

Bicycle: Lie flat on the floor! Put your hands beside your head! Bring knees up to about 45 degree angle and slowly go through a bicycle pedal motion! Touch your left elbow to your right knee, then your right elbow to your left knee! Any Suggestions here?

    As long as you put the effort in I dont think there is much of a difference in terms of calories burnt! The only difference, I think, recumbent bikes offer back support and a larger seat which may be more comfortable for certain people! In my opinion its just personal preference!
