According to the Health Protection Agency, the incubation period for swine flu can be up to seven days, but most likely to be between two and five days! I dont know anything about your sons medical history but what makes you think that he has a weak immune system?? Does he always have colds?? Thats normal for children, they get up to 10 a year and if he has asthma, he will have post viral chesty episodes which make it appear like it he always unwell- he actually isnt! Nothing you can do now, if he gets it, he gets it! If you vaccinate at this late stage in a bid to prevent this current infection he has been exposed to, it will unlikely work!
