What are causes that your eyes burn?

Lots of different things can make your eyes burn! Smoke,pollen,or a viral infection such as a cold or the flu can cause eyes to burn! Any Suggestions here?

    the lack of liquid in your eyes cause the burning, it is a sense to tell your body to blink so that more liquid can get to your eye! the drynesss isnt good for your eye therefore causes a burning sensation
