What causes diarrhea and stomach cramps?

The most common cause of diarrhea is a virus that infects the gut! The infection usually lasts for two days and is sometimes called intestinal flu or stomach flu! Any Suggestions here?

    yes, and it definently wasnt food poisoning! what must have happened is your sister went swimming and swallowed some contaminated water!you should have her visit a doctor immediatley, because it is most likely a parasite, and it will only get worse without the proper medication!the same thing happened to me a while back and it was some parasite in my intestine!please, for the sake of your sister take her to the doctor IMMEDIATELY!
