    Personally I wouldnt use oxyclean on a red area of a carpet! It has taken color out of my clothes when I used it in the laundry! However, try the baking soda tip! If that doesnt work, then try some of the heavy duty laundry spray, like the shout or spray n wash for set in stains! Saturate the stain, place a towel or wash cloth over the area dont pat it until its had a few hrs to work in! Then work it in and blot it up from the carpet! Follow this up with a good carpet cleaning foam! If this is too much then use a carpet steamer to remove it!
