Most doctors can determine if you have either herpes simplex 1 or 2 by an outbreak and send it to a lab to determine if you have the herpes simplex The doctor will perform a blood test or send you to the hospital to get a blood test for herpes. if you have herpes just by looking at your sores and may save you some time Source:http://www.ehow.com/how_5072416_test-herpes-simplex.html

yes it is possible to test negative for STDs first then positive 3 months later!!!!this is why!!!!Some STDs like herpes and HIV are virus related! This means that the virus finds a host (you) and multiplies in your blood stream! Its like getting the flu!!you can be around people who are sick and then you not get sick for the next week because the virus is brewing (multiplying) in your immune system! inital test come back negative and them 3 months later when they test for the STDs they can be positive! Herpes can be dormant for up to 30 days and HIV can be dormant for up to 6 months! Im sorry i dont know what your blisters are but it sounds more like herpes to me! Herpes can only be treated for the symptoms not the actual disease because it is a virus and viruses are incurable! If virus were curable HIV would have a cure! Dioxycillin is an antibiotic which helps your immune system fight an infection, this is why you are scabbing over and are still itchy! Best of luck to you
