What causes heavy periods?

A hormonal imbalance during adolescence or menopause is the most common cause of heavy menstrual bleeding! Any Suggestions here?

    well yeah but you vould actually have your heavy period for the next three days or so and then for the next three or four they you will start to have your light period and you wont have them when sleep and it doesnt seems to be hurt or anything than when you have your heavy period
