Does lack of sleep make your blood pressure go up?

Yes! It has recently been reported that lost sleep may be also contributing to high blood pressure (also called hypertension) in many people! Sleep disorders and chronic sleep loss can put you at risk for: heart disease, heart failure, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes! Any Suggestions here?

    hay darl!!! i wouldnt worry about it to much hay!!!! there are plenty of woman out there that do it all the time!!! i kno for me that its the most comfortable position for me to sleep and i sleep like a log wen i sleep on my back so i do it every now and then just to get some lol!!!! i know for me also that putting a pillow behind my back when i go to bed actually helps me not to roll on my back!!!! when i have a pillow i alwasy wake up on my side ( i wake up like 5 times a nite for dfferent reasons lol) and when i dont have a pillow every time i wake up on my back lol!!! so yeah u can try that if your really worried!! but dont be!!! you dont have long to go:) so exciting :)

    Can blood pressure medicine make your pressure go up? Why does your blood pressure go up when you lay down? No. If you're healthy, then it goes down.
