Is it possible for a headache to cause a stroke?

No, blockage of arterie in the brain by a clot is the most common cause of a stroke! Headaches cannot block arteries, thankfully! Any Suggestions here?

In my personal opinion, I would stop the birth control immediately, especially if you smoke or have a history of cardiovascular disease in your family! There is a common misconception that young people dont have strokes, but this is not true! This does not mean that you had a stroke necessarily, but I just want you to know that it is a possibility! If you think you need to, the ER may be the best place to go, or at least go to your doctor as soon as possible! Good luck!
